Do you provide 24/7 roadside truck repair?
Yes. Smith Truck Repair provides 24/7 roadside assistance. Regular scheduled maintenance and repair appointments are available seven days a week.
Where are you based?
Smith Truck Repair is based in Haines City, Florida and provides mobile service across Central Florida. Travel charges depend on distance and the job.
What is your standard mobile labor rate?
Standard mobile repair labor is $150 per hour with a two-hour mobile labor minimum. Advanced OEM diagnostics and electrical work is $175 per hour. Nights/weekends and emergency-priority rates are higher.
What is the service-call charge?
The local service-call charge is $125 within approximately 25 miles of Haines City. Travel outside the local area is $3.00 per one-way mile beyond the approximately 25-mile local area.
What truck makes do you work on?
We provide bumper-to-bumper commercial truck repair across major makes and specialize in heavy-duty platforms including Detroit, Cummins, PACCAR, Caterpillar, Volvo and Mack. Tires are excluded.
What transmissions do you service?
We work on Eaton manual and automated transmissions, Allison automatic transmissions, Detroit DT12, Volvo I-Shift and Mack mDrive applications.
Do you work on tires?
No. Smith Truck Repair does not provide tire sales or tire repair.
Do you offer fleet maintenance?
Yes. We offer mobile fleet PM programs, PM A/B/C service, DOT inspections, recurring yard service and commercial fleet account applications.
Can I request service online?
Yes. The Request Service form lets you send contact information, truck details, location, fault codes, symptoms, requested work and optional photos/documents before dispatch.
What warranty do you provide?
Smith Truck Repair provides a 90-day workmanship warranty unless a different written term is stated on the invoice. Parts we supply are covered by the applicable supplier/manufacturer warranty. Customer-supplied parts do not carry a Smith Truck Repair parts warranty.
